Not even nearly enough time to work on a single project and yet can't help from starting to ponder about the next one.. In Israel there's a unique version of the card game of Whist (known even internationally as "Israeli" Whist). I played a few times, and lost them all. As a truly unbearable situation I could not stop my self from seeking a technological solution. Writing an algorithm for a good probabilistic computer player will surely do the job as doing so takes you beyond anger and emotion into analyzing the basics of the game and discovering it's mathematical nature. Rest assured, I wouldn't mind losing again having written a piece of software that is at least as good as any of my friends...

iPee Production
iPee project pending real life production! Purchased the iPad's genuine LCD screen (from Samsung electronics), a BeagleBoard to run my "novel" pee detection algorithm and Logitech's QuickCam Pro 900 to be hacked and turned into a wide-angle near-IR camera. In order not too proceed description to actual creation, full details and a short dossier on the algorithm will follow the actual installation.
IDF Morality - HLS Student Visit
Had the honor to host the annual visit of leading HLS (Harvard Law School) students to Israel this week on base, trying to fill in the gap where the media all too often fails: describing the moral dilemmas and concerns we (the people behind the military operations) are facing every day. One of the students' hosts wrote about it in the Jerusalem Post. Read it here:
